．個人感想．

翻完才發現這首Achi大已經做過影片了啊

但沒關係

我們翻的風格不太一樣

大概吧😅

之前剛開始聽到這首歌曲

一直以為是很俏皮的歌

尤其是

「No, no, no, no, no, no

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah」

那段

再搭配歌名

不知為何就讓我腦中浮現「郵差快樂送信」的感覺 lol

其實這首有幾句我覺得很難翻

像

「Why I'm in denial that they tried the suicidal session」

直譯就是

「為何我總拒絕承認他們嘗試過自殺療法?」

外國網友的討論我其實也是有看沒有懂

不過我認為可以從幾種面向去討論

一、Tyler拒絕接受人們總在面臨挫折時訴諸於死亡

二、「they」指的其實是Tyler本身，他總是表示自己絕不會嘗試以自殺來解決問題，但Blurryface的出現讓他開始懷疑這麼做的目的

三、Tyler不斷在歌詞中探討自殺的議題，非歌迷會認為他是在褻瀆、濫用生命的意義來創作歌曲，而Tyler卻會認為他們是因為沒有經歷過傷痛，於是才不願接受他的歌詞內容

我自己是偏好第二種解讀方式

另外

還有最重要的那句

「Please use discretion when you're messin' with the message, man」

這句我在影片中是翻了兩個不同的意思

分別是將「message, man」看作兩個字和一個字的解讀方式

而這又牽扯到這句歌詞中一個很有趣的片語

「mess with」

它同時有

1.「打擾；招惹」

2.「與（危險的人或事物）扯上關係/有所牽連」

和

3.「瞎弄；曲解」

的意思

如果把這句的受詞看作「message」的話

就可以套用2.跟3.的意思

分別解讀為

「要是你想嘗試理解我所傳達的訊息的話，請用點心認真聽」

和

「在你嘗試曲解我所傳達的訊息之前，請再三思」

而又如果把這句的受詞看作「message man」的話

就可以套用1./2.跟3.的意思

分別解讀為

「送信人並不是好惹的，找麻煩前請先三思」

和

「不要將送信人和他所傳遞的訊息混為一談」

真的很有趣

短短一個句子可以被玩出這麼多種解讀方式

我個人最喜歡的是最後一種

我也認為那應該是Tyler主要想表達的事情

所以我就只針對這做解析了

Tyler總是在歌曲中夾帶宗教意圖的詞

許多人會因此認為他是在濫用宗教名義在創作音樂

然而他在這裡就是想表達

這些都是宗教的真理

並不是他一人主觀的看法

他並無傳教的意圖

他所寫的只不過是人生必然會發生的事情

於是他不希望聽眾總是強硬地想把歌詞與作詞者Tyler本身做出不必要的關聯、聯想

或是過度解讀

還是其實我現在就是在這麼做? lol

不過這些就是我自己的看法啦

大家有自己的感受是很正常的事
