．個人感想．

我這次翻譯是用Vessel裡bonus track的版本

因為我個人比較喜歡這版本的副歌

比較沒有太多混音的效果

聽起來比較真切

比較pure的感覺

我認為比較符合這首歌詞的調性

lovely這個詞原指可愛的、惹人喜歡的

但這裡我採用了它字根的意義

較能詮釋此首歌詞的主題:

「每個人都有表達愛的權利

但在所有愛的根本中

你該先學會愛自己」

我很喜歡這句歌詞:

「The only difference between life and dying

Is one is trying, that's all we're called to do」

生命真的沒什麼

只不過是一個過譽的、用來擬化存在意義的名詞

甚至可以說是被「定義出來」的

人們總說要「珍惜生命」

但我覺得這句話應該改成「珍惜存在」

生命是為存在所訂定出的限制

其長短並不代表什麼

但是「存在」卻是一個能夠讓人在廣大的宇宙時間線上留下定位的過程

每個人都是存在的

但是你有真正活著嗎?

有著信念嗎?

目標?

一個堅持的動力?

那才是「存在」給人的真正意義

TO stay alive只是起點

最重要、最有意義的是HOW

你要如何活著?

自怨自艾?怨天尤人?

抑或是學會自愛、接納殘缺的自我?
