．個人感想．

很喜歡這首歌的主題

「發光的眼睛」給人很有意境、想像空間

雖然我覺得歌名直翻有點破壞了這種美感

不過我又怕翻得太過修飾又會感覺詞不達意

所以我就直翻讓大家自行體會它的意思囉

不知道大家有沒有在電視上或是現實中看過動物在黑暗中發光的眼睛

像是森林裡的鹿

或是暗室中的貓之類的

先不論「眼睛的主人」是何種存在

不覺得這種眼睛儘管乍看之下有些聳人

但越盯著它看會越入神

甚至感覺被誘惑、吸引住嗎?

現在想像這些眼睛屬於「寂寞」、「抑鬱」

即便它們看似多麼黑暗

但你卻總有個感覺

感覺在它們之中能夠找到一絲光芒

尤其它們是你在黑暗中唯一的陪伴

因此無論是否真的存在那縷光線

你都會沉溺於那虛幻的、無法觸碰到的希望

Tyler就是想表達這種情況

我很喜歡這句

「We live for the night's decor」

在其他歌曲中

常聽見Tyler將夜晚表達為人們最容易受抑鬱侵擾的時段

我們一直以為我們是這世界上的主角

但有沒有可能

在夜晚時

其實是黑暗的主場?

我們只不過是為他的演出增添負面情緒的要素作為惡魔的娛樂罷了

夜晚從來都不是一個「錯誤的」或是「邪惡的」存在

我們會這麼想

只是因為我們的情緒渲染出夜晚的黑

卻無法析出月光的美

但或許也就是因為如此

我們才會被黑暗中發光的眼睛所吸引住

我們太習慣了黑暗

導致我們無法想像真正的光明是什麼模樣

無法想像暗室外是被月光壟罩的大地
