．個人感想．

這首應該算是Vessel裡最廣為人傳的一首了

也算是我早期認識他們的歌曲之一

之前沒仔細去了解這首歌的內容

一直以為這是首情歌

現在想想似乎也沒錯

只不過不是人世間的小情小愛

而是Tyler對上帝一封愛的感謝信

就如同TØP其他大部分的歌曲一般

除了其表面對於信仰的讚頌外

這首歌更深層的涵義還探討了抑鬱、自殺這回事

我在其他首歌下的感想已作出了不少註解

就不多作論述

主要是想再提及我在影片中的註解提到的「ignite」(點燃)這個詞

像影片中說的

我很喜歡這個措辭

很多人一直認為遇到負面情緒的唯一解決方法

就是擊敗它、消滅它

尤其可以讓它不再出現更好

然而事實是

世事皆有正反兩面

正負面情緒是共存的

我們不得妄想永遠維持正面思緒

況且其實有不少事情、問題在負面情緒下是較容易進行、解決的

例如:探討失敗、檢視及省思人生等

因此就像Tyler說的

我們應該「點燃」它

而非「燒燬」它

如果負面情緒是無盡的

那就沒必要急著想辦法剷除它們

何不好好利用那些造成我們痛苦的時刻呢?
