．個人感想．

這是首因為音質而差點被我埋沒掉的好歌

我不確定是Tyler故意想營造這種感覺

還是什麼其他原因

不過我在網路上看到的版本

音質都讓我個人覺得不是很悅耳

所以我自己在翻譯前

嘗試稍微小混了一下這首歌

我認為效果還不錯

就直接把我調過的版本放上來了

如果有人覺得不妥的話

我再改回原本的放上來

這首歌的主題除了同樣講述

同專輯其他歌曲一再提到的「懷疑信仰」外

還寫到了跟之後的歌曲Kitchen Sink有點類似的主題

「找尋人生的意義」

有些人會認為Tyler在歌詞中描述的「人生的意義」

都說得很模糊

但其實不盡然

沒有人能夠確切告訴你

你人生的意義為何

除了你自己

Tyler唯一能夠幫忙的

只有在這些歌中不斷強調著意義的重要性

我絕對不會說他形容的太誇張了

如果人生沒有意義

那人就不會對未來

或是不用講得那麼長遠

對明天

不會抱持任何期待

只會每天都苟延殘喘地活得如行屍走肉

下一次失望、下一次抑鬱

甚至畏懼時間的存在

隨時顫慄地揣測著死亡的到來

所以為人生找個目標吧

短期的也好

長遠的也罷

反正只要對未來每一分秒有所期許

活著就有了意義
