．個人感想．

這首雖然從歌名看起來

應該是首很負面的歌

但仔細看歌詞內容會發現

其實Tyler是以沉重的議題向大家發表勵志的演說

這個議題也就是「死亡的不可避免性」

或者，在心理學上被稱為「死亡焦慮」

雖然看似Tyler只是在歌詞中不斷重複著這件事情

但事實上他在中間穿插了不少句子用來強調人生的美好

我真的很喜歡這段

「Have you ever heard the outside calling?

Have you ever heard the trees singing their song?

Have you ever tasted a ray of Sun?

And have you ever held the Moon's glow?」

儘管只是幾句描述大自然的直白的句子

但他的用詞非常巧妙

讓人很容易被帶進情境裡面

用「calling」(呼喚)而不是「sound」(聲音)

用「sing their song」(唱著屬於它們的歌)而不是「blown by the wind」(被風吹動)

讓人更強烈地感受到萬物的生命

用「taste」(嚐)而不是「feel」(感受)

要人們享受陽光

甚至跟它融為一體

而非只是單純曬曬太陽

用「hold」(抓住、相信)而不是「see」(看見)

除了加強月光的柔媚感外

同時也增添了些信仰的意涵在裡頭

另外我也很喜歡這兩句

「Fall just to fly, fly 'cause we're free

Free 'cause I know I've seen the end of me」

即便知道了人生注定的結果

也並不代表著我們只能無所事事的等死

反而

就是因為已經知道每個人的盡頭都是同樣的命運

所以我們更該因此在這過程中活出最獨特的生活
