．給不熟悉Trench世界觀的人的簡要名詞解釋．

Dema:故事中最主要的城市，象徵著抑鬱、消極和不自由

Clancy:故事中的主角，曾沉迷在Dema營造出來的安逸幻覺中，現在為banditos其中一員

Trench(壕溝):分隔Dema與外界，亦為專輯名稱

banditos(土匪):極力想逃離Dema的人們，但被困在了Trench

nine bishops(九位主教):為統治Dema的人物，即niners

Nico:全名Nicolas Bourbaki，為九位主教中的一員，象徵焦慮和抑鬱

．個人感想．

這首算是Trench世界觀裡最重要的一首了吧

其實我自己不是很喜歡「土匪」這個譯名

本來想要翻「逃逸者」或「叛逆者」

甚至直接音譯「班狄托」

但來我覺得Tyler選用這個詞一定有特殊的用意

可能是想表達「偷回曾屬於自己的自由的人」吧

故事內容影片中註釋大都提到了

我就不多說了

另外值得一提的是

Tyler真的很喜歡玩字謎

除了上次在Redecorate中介紹過了專輯名稱的易位構詞後

在這首歌裡又用了一次

在banditos的呼叫聲「Sahlo Folina」中

可以發現其實是「All Ohio fans」(致所有俄亥俄州的粉絲)的異位構詞

而Tyler和Josh都是俄亥俄州人

這算是對家鄉的一個致敬吧
