．個人感想．

我很喜歡這首歌

這首歌描述的主題面向很特別

「寫歌成癮的人」

乍聽之下只是一位作家的自詡

但實則是Tyler對於長期下來「以詞抒情」的厭煩

其實也不太能算厭煩

只不過他越來越懷疑自己寫歌的動機、目的為何

他究竟是為了寫歌而寫歌

還是初衷--將寫詞作為療癒心靈的療法呢?

他認為自己寫詞的內容風格愈加瘋狂

甚至只是些胡言亂語


這首歌還有個很有趣的點

也就是沙漠(在上方有相關連結補充)

拿沙漠作比喻有個很重要的特點

也就是無法在當中奔跑

你越跑只會越陷進裡頭

就跟Tyler對於信仰的迷失一樣

他認為他遺失了信念

於是就開始發了瘋似的東尋西覓想找回最初的信仰

但迎來的卻只是更多的迷惘而已

因此他冒出了自殺的念頭

只不過這次

他想起了耶穌已經犧牲自己

為他承受了所有的罪孽

所以他拋棄了這個想法

開始一點一點地找回自己的信念
