．個人感想．

Eminem早期的歌曲我其實大都不是很熟

像這首我就是第一次聽到

我本來是想先翻Sayin' Goodbye to Hollywood的

但看了歌詞解析後才發現那首算是這首歌接續的故事

就果斷先翻這首了

還順便把skit一起翻

想說這兩個一定要接著聽才有故事和音樂的連貫性

The Kiss這段skit是在講述Eminem在2000年7月4號

發生的一起槍枝衝突事件(相關新聞連結 : https://reurl.cc/DgN0mQ)

當時他正在好友Gary Kozlowski家中

突然聽說他妻子Kimberly Anne Scott和另一個男人在一起

於是他就夥同Gary

打算去一瞧真相

結果就當場目睹了Kim與俱樂部的保鑣接吻

於是他就帶上槍(沒子彈也未上膛)朝那對男女走了過去

狠狠地用槍托重擊男子(後來他又澄清是用拳頭)

他也因此惹得訴訟

並不久後與Kim離婚

在背景情節的鋪陳後

緊接著的歌曲Soldier接續了這個故事

並順帶提及了「他的歌詞中充滿暴力」的這個爭議性話題

在發生上述的事件後

眾人開始對他議論紛紛

認為好像他的做人就跟他的歌詞一樣暴力粗俗

所以對於這件事情的發生並不感到意外

即便這只是極少數的案例

在歌曲中後段

似乎也有在諷刺說

「就算哪天我真的變暴力了，那這也是大眾媒體逼我的」

其實也就呼應了他的Slim Shady人格

而這人格究竟是本性的驅使

抑或是價值觀被迫的扭曲

或許連他本人也無從解答
